Our Team

David has been with the Trust since 2017. As CEO he is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the Trust and has oversight of all activities. He is accountable to the Trust Board.

David has over thirty-five years’ experience in education, including roles as a primary Headteacher, Local Authority Officer, Ofsted Inspector, and education adviser to a large national trust. He has also served as a member and a trustee in two different trusts. Prior to his current role he worked as an educational consultant, helping establish large numbers of academies and trusts as well as supporting existing trusts, with a particular expertise on governance. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, a PGCE and a Masters Degree in Strategic Leadership.
